A mid 19th century patinated bronze striking table clock By James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, number 1818
This is a very rare Bronze Bracket/Table Clock. This Indian style is more commonly found used in McCab`s Carriage clocks.
The case has a Oak carcass with stepped upper section over a well cast cornice and canted front angles on an angled plinth to bun feet,
The signed painted Roman dial with brass moon hands and strike/silent  signed James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, 1818,
The similarly signed and numbered twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement the strike train with trip repeat and full hourly strike on the bell.
